By the way, I'm sorry that AP has seemed to take a left turn into being a mom blog. Because I'm sick, I've given myself some time off from working on the two articles and one conference paper I have to do. It seems to me that academics just frigging work too much -- and I'm enjoying a little time off. I know most of y'all don't have the opportunity for this, but I'll be teaching and grading and everything when many of you are on vacation.

And please don't apologize for writing about the mom part of your life. It's *all* interesting!!
Oh, I relate to having project ideas but not the follow through. I wanted to make Valentines, then I decided to just get some photo ones done (with B) to send to my sisters, etc. But what fun it is to make Valentines!
As for talking about mom/kid life ... that's part of the deal, isn't it? At least some of your readers are interested in how it all plays out, the whole Absurdist Life. :)
